Visit to Slovakia

We decided to participate in Erasmus+ programme because we wanted to improve our English, visit another country and gain new experience. The choice of students on the trip was based on the number of tasks we carried out during the project. Six of the most engaged students had the pleasure to take part in a wonderful trip to the Slovakian capital together with students from Greece and Bulgaria. We left on Sunday, October 17, and returned at night of October 22. We went to Bratislava by minibus. Our road was long, but pleasant. We were accommodated at the Nivy Hotel, which is located very close to the centre of the capital. The hotel was well maintained and the food was fresh and tasty. On the first day, we were introduced to all the students and teachers and presented our schools and towns. They also orginized refreshments and each country brought its own delicacies which we tasted. Then we went on a tour of Bratislava and visited many interesting sights. On the second day, our hosts showed us how they learn and then we had lunch together and visited the UFO restaurant, from where we could admire the panorama of Bratislava. At the end of the day, we walked around the beautiful green parks located in the city centre. On the third day, we went on a trip to Devin Castle. The views along the way were amazing and the castle made a huge impression on us. The next day we were given time to work on our projects that we had to complete during our stay. The projects we had to do were about  ecology. Each country had to present a different environmental problem. Then we went for a walk in the woods and spent time outdoors. On the last day, we presented our projects and had lunch together. Unfortunately, the trip was coming to an end and we had to say goodbye to the wonderful people we met on this trip. The Erasmus+  visit provided us with a lot of new experiences. We were able to learn a lot about the culture of other countries. We can confidently say that it was one of the best trips we have ever been on.
